This Privacy Policy explains how Shopora Studio ("Shopora Studio", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit shoporastudio.com (the "Website"), contact us, or work with us on a Shopify store project. Shopora Studio is a trading name of AYRENIX LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16672827), with its registered office at Dephna House, 7 Coronation Road, London NW10 7PQ, United Kingdom. We work with clients in the United Kingdom, the European Union, the United States and Morocco.
1. Who is responsible for your information
AYRENIX LTD, trading as Shopora Studio, is the data controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy. For any question or request, contact us at hello@shoporastudio.com or on WhatsApp using the button on the Website.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you use one of our forms (contact, project brief, free store audit or review), email us or message us on WhatsApp, we receive the information you choose to share, for example:
- your name, email address and WhatsApp number;
- your country, brand name and the link to your current store or website;
- details about your project, your products, your logo and any files you send us;
- the content of your messages and, for reviews, the text you write and whether you allow us to publish it.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Website, Shopify, which hosts it, collects technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit and how you arrived on the Website. This is done through cookies and similar technologies (see section 6).
Information about your store. When we build a store for you, we work inside a Shopify store that contains the products, content and settings you provide. Until the store is transferred to you, we process this content on your behalf and only to build and deliver your project.
We do not ask for and do not collect payment card details through the Website.
3. How we use your information
- To answer you and discuss your project before you decide to work with us.
- To deliver our service: design and build your store, share preview links, apply your changes, transfer the store to your Shopify account and provide support afterwards.
- To send your free store audit when you request one.
- To publish your review, only if you gave explicit permission in the review form. We publish your first name, your store and your country only, never your email address or phone number.
- To manage payments and invoices and keep the records required by law.
- To keep the Website secure, prevent spam and fraud, and understand how the Website is used so we can improve it.
- To show you our services in advertising, where you have accepted advertising cookies (see section 6).
We do not sell your personal information, and we only send you marketing messages if you have agreed to receive them.
4. Legal bases (for visitors in the EU and the UK)
We process your information because it is necessary to answer your request or to perform our contract with you; because we have a legitimate interest in running and protecting our business and Website; because the law requires it (for example, keeping invoices); or because you have given your consent (for example, to advertising cookies or to the publication of your review). You can withdraw your consent at any time.
5. Who we share information with
We only share personal information with the service providers we need to run our business, and only for that purpose:
- Shopify, which hosts the Website and the stores we build;
- WhatsApp (Meta), when you message us on WhatsApp;
- Zoho Mail, our email provider, when you email us;
- Advertising and analytics providers such as Meta and Google, only where you have accepted the related cookies;
- Authorities, when the law requires us to.
Some of these providers are located outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union. Where required, they rely on recognised safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. Cookies
The Website uses cookies set by Shopify that are necessary for it to work and stay secure. With your consent, we may also use analytics and advertising cookies (for example the Meta Pixel) to measure visits and show our services to people who visited the Website. Where a cookie banner is shown, you can accept or refuse non-essential cookies, and you can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings.
7. How long we keep your information
- Messages and project information: for as long as we work together and provide support, then up to 3 years after our last contact.
- Invoices and payment records: for as long as accounting and tax laws require.
- Free audit requests from people who did not become clients: up to 12 months.
- Published reviews: until you ask us to remove them.
You can ask us to delete your information earlier, unless we must keep it by law.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the UK General Data Protection Regulation and Data Protection Act 2018, the EU General Data Protection Regulation, US state privacy laws and Moroccan Law 09-08, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete your information;
- object to or restrict certain uses, including marketing;
- receive a copy of your information in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent at any time.
To make a request, email hello@shoporastudio.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity and we reply within the time required by law. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority: in the United Kingdom, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO, ico.org.uk); in the EU, the authority of your country; in Morocco, the CNDP.
9. Security
We use trusted platforms (Shopify, Zoho and WhatsApp), protect our accounts, and give access to your project only to the people working on it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send us passwords or sensitive information by email or WhatsApp; we will tell you how to give us access to your store safely.
10. Children
Our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices or the law change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
